What Is Warss?
Warss (also written Waras, Wars or Wurus, and ورس in Arabic and Urdu) is a red-orange resinous powder collected from the pods of Flemingia plants. For centuries it has been used in Arabia, Yemen, East Africa and India as a natural dye and cosmetic.
It appears in a well-known narration reported by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): women in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to apply warss on their faces (Sunan Abi Dawud 311, graded hasan sahih by Al-Albani; also in Jami' at-Tirmidhi 139 and Sunan Ibn Majah 648). That is the heart of the story: warss was a familiar, everyday facial cosmetic in the Prophet's ﷺ time.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Eat olive and use its oil, for indeed it is a blessed tree."

- Take 3 to 4 drops of Warss® Facial Oil on your fingertips and warm them between your palms.
- Press and massage gently into your face and neck in soft circular motions. Avoid the eye area.
- Leave it on overnight. Do not wash it off.
Tips
- If you also use a gel, apply Warss® Aloe Vera Gel first and finish with the oil last.
- Start with 2 to 3 drops if your skin is oily or sensitive, then adjust.
- Use a clean pillowcase, and change it regularly.
- Consistency matters more than quantity. A few drops, every night, beats a lot of oil once in a while.
